The British Cave Rescue Council is the national representative body for all voluntary underground rescue teams.
The Devon Cave Rescue Organisation is our neighbouring cave rescue team covering the caves and mines of Devon.
The Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group is our neighbouring cave rescue team covering the caves and mines of Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean
The South & Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team is our neighbouring cave rescue team covering the caves and mines of South Wales.
Local Caving Links
The Council of Southern Caving Clubs is the association of Caving Clubs whose interests lie in the Mendip Hills of Somerset and the surrounding area.
There are a number of local caving clubs whose members Mendip Cave Rescue can call on for assistance during a rescue. These include the Axbridge Caving Group, the Bristol Exploration Club, the Cerberus Spelæological Society, the Cheddar Caving Club, the Mendip Caving Group, the Mendip Nature Research Committee, the Shepton Mallet Caving Club and the Wessex Cave Club.

Other Local Rescue Links
The Avon & Somerset Search & Rescue is the local search and rescue team including mountain rescue capabilities. Mendip Cave Rescue work closely with the Avon & Somerset Search & Rescue team on a number of missing person searches.
Mendip Cave Rescue also work closely with the local emergency services. The Avon & Somerset Constabulary are the local police force, the South Western Ambulance Service are the local ambulance service who provide paramedics and training for MCR members, and Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue and Avon Fire & Rescue are the local fire services.
